Panel discussion "Peace and sovereignty of the peoples to counter new wave of imperialism"

Speeches by:

  • Adolfo Mendoza,  member of the MAS-IPSP (Bolivia), a member of the Andean Parliament, and the drafter of Bolivia’s Plurinational Constitution during the Evo Morales administration. He will address the issue of sovereignty (national, cultural, and economic) in Latin America in the face of US imperialism.
  • Francisco Araújo,  member of the Portuguese Communist Party, who will discuss the rearmament of the European Union and the self-defense fallacy.
  • Néstor Rego, BNG member of Parliament.
Closing remarks
  • Ana Miranda, Member of the European Parmiament for the BNG (Nationalist Party of Galicia), will focus her speech on the need for a just and lasting peace in the face of proposals from European governments that are leading to an escalation of war.
