The systematic study of national and regional movements in Europe is far from being complete. It actually lacks a comparative approach at European level. One of the main stumbling blocks in the study is the lack of systematic and reliable data collection. The source material is dispersed over numerous archives of associations, parties, periodicals and private individuals. Some of those archives are managed on the basis of strict scientific criteria, but often it is heritage that risks being lost before it can be preserved for the future, let alone be divulged and studied. That is why it is of the utmost importance that a European network of institutions and people who care for this heritage be created.
Luc Boeva set us in this study a list of all organisations, archives, institutions, parties and indiviuduals bearing relevant information for the study of the subject and urges them to enter into a mutual partnership and collaboration.
