The Right to Decide in the 21st Century: Scotland, Catalonia and Beyond

The Scottish referendum and the forthcoming Catalan consultation show that Europe is living in an evolving era regarding the self-determination processes. The Centre Maurits Coppieters, UNPO and the European Free Alliance took the initiative to organise a conference on “the right to decide” aiming at understanding and reviewing the latest developments in this field and the repercussion of this phenomena for the European Union. Top politicians, researchers and practitioners will share their views and analysis to foster a broader debate on this subject of current relevance.
