Ideas and protagonists of European independence movements

Events / Sat 21 Jul 2018 09:00

This conference co-organised with the Istituto Camillo Bellieni provided the latest updates and innovative analysis along historical-theoretical lines about European autonomist, federalist and independence movements of stateless nations, such as Sardinia, Corsica, Scotland, Aragon, Wales, the Basque Country, Flanders, Catalonia and Galicia.

The conference was an opportunity to build a European political perspective common to all movements, as well as open a new season of dialogue with political forces that are sympathetic or in solidarity with these movements.

Experts were met by local politicians: Manuel Alivesi (Provincial Commissioner FI), Maurilio Murru (Head of the Municipality of Sassari 5-Star Movement), Silvio Lai (former Regional Councilor and Senator PD), Paolo Maninchedda (former Regional Councilor and Councilor, PDS Secretary), Christian Solinas (Senator, secretary of the PSD’Az).
