Ideas: Alternative Governance Models of Europe

Fundación Galiza Sempre came together with Centre Maurits Coppieters to spark the debate on multilevel economic governance, alternative models, new forms of political participation and the refugee crisis in Europe.

The conference, followed by an Questions and answers session was scheduled as follows:

1st Panel: Alternative governance models 

  • Montse Pardo. MP at the Galiza Parliament for BNG & International affairs correspondant for BNG
  • Marian Beitialarrangoitia. MP for EH-Bildu at the Spanish Congress.
  • Ferran Civit. MP for ERC at the Catalan Parliament
  • Ricardo Galhardo. Bureau member of the Comunist Party of Porto-Portugal.
  • David Grosclaude. Member of the Occitan Party & Vice President of the European Free alliance

2nd Panel: Refugees: running for their lives

  • Ana Miranda. Former Member of the European Parliament. Spokesperson of BNG before the EU.
  • Rubén Arroxo. Spokesperson of the BNG at the Lugo City Council.
  • María Lalin. Journalist and authors of “Benvid@s refuxiad@s”, deployed in idomeni.
  • Felipe Carnotto. Photo Journalist deployed to Idomeni.
