The recent surge of far-right movements across Europe reflects growing polarization, fueled by economic anxieties, immigration debates, and nationalist rhetoric. To counter this trend effectively, we must examine history’s warnings, understanding how unchecked extremism once destabilized democracies and led to catastrophic outcomes. By learning from the past, we can foster resilience and safeguard democratic values.
Coppieters Foundation and Fundacions Darder-Mascaró organise a joint event in Palma de Mallorca on 29 and 30 November 2024.
Experts, activists, and community members will come together to discuss strategies and solutions to counter the rising discourse of the far right.
Through insightful discussions, historical exploration, and practical experiences, this two-day event will shed light on the anti-fascist movement throughout history and the current challenges Europe faces.
