The Centre Maurits Coppieters is a member of the World Network For Collective Rights of Peoples since 2012. The aim of the network is to connect political movements from stateless nations worldwide with in order to create a common front in defense of their collective rights at international level.
In this sense, the main goal of the 2014 workshop was to discuss the possibility of establishing a joint strategy of International public diplomacy for stateless nations, in order to intervene in international organizations such as the EU and the UN.
On this occasion, the workshop counted with the active involvement of representatives from European (Corsica, Brittany, Scotland, Basque Country, Wales, Cornwall, Galiza and Catalan Countries), Asian (Kurdistan) and African (Amazigh people) nations.

17:00 – Presentation, debate and resolutions: towards a new public diplomacy of stateless nations.
18:00 – Objectives and working plan of the network for the 2014-2015 periods: structure, economics, extension, communication, secretarial services, incidence in the EU and the UN, study and report on current events and perspectives for the right to self-determination.
19:00 – Choice or endorsements, if any, of the Board Committee and the administrative office of the network.
